Club Rules

NISC L.L.C. Rules

For the purposes of the rules below, the word “Member” may include all persons covered under the membership agreement, Rules and Policies are subject to change without notice.

  1. All Federal and State rules and regulations must be followed at all times.
  2. All properties, blinds, roads and any other club property are to be left in the manner in which you found it.
  3. All trash must be removed at the end of each day. This includes all spent shells.
  4. During wet conditions travel into the property, transit and travel will be restricted to boat or foot traffic.
  5. Parking will be restricted to designated areas only.
  6. Hunt days are Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. Waterfowl only. To ensure a better quality hunt on Sunday morning, Saturdays will be morning hunts only until Thanksgiving weekend, after which they will be treated as any shoot day.
  7. Memberships may have up to 4 full time members. All members are to be designated as members.
  8. Hunting is limited to the blind location only, no jump shooting or chasing of game is allowed.  Blind locations should allow for a 75 yard buffer between area boundaries. As a courtesy to fellow members and for safeties sake, a 200 yard buffer between neighboring blinds should be maintained. To ensure safety, decoys should not be deployed towards a neighboring blind.
  9. A member must have their “Blind Ring” hung 1 hour before legal hunting time to guarantee their use of the blind. If a member does not have their “Blind Ring” hung at 1 hour before legal hunting time, and after a 15 minute courtesy grace period, that blind is considered open and may be hunted by another member. If a member shows up and another member has taken their blind, they must choose another area. If any member abuses this grace privilege by continuously arriving late, the 15 minute grace period will be revoked. This privilege is intended for unforeseen circumstances that may arise in transit and not as an excuse for being tardy. Blind rings are to be removed when done hunting for the day.
  10. Both goose fields are subject to the same rules as the rest of the club. The small goose field is open to all members on a first come basis. The large Goose field is not subject to the “Blind Ring” rules as it is leased on day to day terms. The cost to hunt the big goose field is $100.00 per gun per day for members, and $150.00 for guests and is limited to a maximum of six hunters per day.
  11. Yearly memberships, which end on March 31st  are by invitation only and are not implied from year to year.
  12. Members are personally responsible for any damage that may occur during their hunt, whether to person or property. Members are to compensate NISC L.L.C. for any damage within 24 hours. NISC L.L.C. will determine the appropriate compensation.
  13. Guests must sign the Application to Hunt/Release of Liability forms at least 24 hours prior to hunting on the property. No Exceptions.

  18. Members or their guests found shooting over the acceptable lethal distance (over 50 yards) or not making a reasonable effort to retrieve downed birds will have their membership revoked immediately. Wanton waste of game will not be tolerated.
  19. Removal of decoys after the days hunt is required. Morning hunters are required to be off the water with their gear stowed and be checked out by 12:30 PM. Afternoon hunters can check in after 1:00 PM for the evening hunt. If hunters leave the ponds all decoys must be picked up. If hunters leave the property, their blind ring must be removed.
  20. If a membership is revoked, for any reason, the members hunt year will be immediately terminated and no refund will be issued.
  21. All members and guests are to maintain sportsmanlike behavior while on club property and to other club members at all times. Inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  22. All blinds and hunting materials are required to be removed two weeks after end of season. Blinds are to be completely removed and not just cut off at the ice or water line as this creates a safety hazard for field work.

I have read and understood the rules and policies stated above and agree to abide by them in their entirety.
